Fall Foliage Festival Oct. 12 - 15, 2017 Downtown Events Schedule

Thursday, Oct. 12

5:00 - 9:00 pm, Taste of Fall - Brand new event.  An exclusive area serving seasonal foods. There will also be a pumpkin decorating area.

5:30 pm,  Dairy Queen Blizzard Eating Contest - free stage

6:00 - 8:00 pm, (Customer Appreciation Night) Businesses and Organizations will be lined up down Washington Street to show you appreciation for your business.  There will be contests and giveaways.

6:30 pm, Kids Do Say the Darndest Things - Our host, Scotty Manley will bring out the sweet innocence, and often very funny personalities, of children through interviews on the free stage. (Sponsored by WCBK 102.3 FM). (*Pre-registration required)

7:15 pm, The Vocalist - Singing competition Audition round- free stage (*Pre-registration required)

Friday, Oct. 13

6:00 pm, Miah Ferran - 2015 Vocalist winner will perform on the free stage

6:30 pm, The Vocalist - Battle/elimination round - 6 contestants will compete to make it to the finale

8:00 - 10:00 pm, Hoosier Darling - finest R & B, Classic Rock, Country & Top 40 music - free stage

Saturday, Oct. 14

2:45 - 5:45 pm, Street entertainment (2:45 Elite; 3:30 Electric Impulse; 4:15 Gentry; 5:00 J2 Dance)

6:30 pm, The Vocalist finale - event will be livestreamed - free stage.  The 3 finalist will join 8-Track Mind on stage for a song.

8:00 - 10:00 pm, 8-Track Mind - Sing along and dance to classic rock from the 70’s & 80’s.  You’ll be rocking to music from REO Speedwagon, Journey and 38 special, to name a few.  You know all the words! Come dressed 80’s style (leg warmers, big hair, parachute pants, etc.) to win prizes. (Sponsored by WCLS 97.7 FM).

Sunday, Oct. 15

10:00 am, Open Air Church Service - Pastor Skip Roten, Centennial Church - free stage - Worship under the bright skies, sing hymns and fellowship on the square.  Enjoy complimentary coffee provided by Starbucks and donuts provided by Kroger. (Sponsored by Spirit 95.1 FM and MYJOY 100.5 FM).

1:00 pm, The 58th running of the Fall Foliage Festival Parade. Theme is Fall in Love with Morgan County.
