ENTRY FEE: $3.00 for first 5 entries with a maximum of $15.00 if more than one entry

JUDGING: Tuesday, October 10, 2017 after entry time closes at 11:00 a.m.

Categories: 1) Pieced & Hand Quilted, 2) Pieced & Machine Quilted, 3) Appliquéd/Embroidered, 4) Miscellaneous/Wearable items, (wall hangings, clothing, comforters, pillow, etc.) 5) Child’s Quilt. 6) Vintage Quilt

      Vintage Quilts are an entry this year. The quilt must be 50 years or older. Please bring some history about the quilt. They will not be judged, but a People’s choice Heritage Award will be given.

All quilts will need to be identified as to type of quilt, and the estimated value. Also quilts will be marked,

“For sale” or “not for sale”. Ribbons, awards and prize money will be distributed when you pick up your quilt.

The Fall Foliage Festival Quilt Contest is open to any Morgan County and surrounding area quilter and may be any pattern one chooses. The quilt entered in the first two categories should be at least twin size and may be piece, Appliquéd, or Embroidered. The 3rd category is for a child’s quilt. A 4th category will be added as miscellaneous items, such as comforters, pillows, wall hangings, etc. The 5th category is wearable pieces. All work must have been finished between October 2014 and October 2016 by the quilter entering. Individuals as well as groups are welcome to enter. (Such as church circles, extension homemakers clubs, and sororities, etc.) All quilts must be quilts. They must have a top, filler, and backing sewn together in a “sandwich” style. Hand quilting, machine quilting, and tufting will be accepted. Signs in the quilt area will be posted to discouraged touching. All winning entries and other quilts, with the owner’s permission will be left on display, at KeyBank, through October 17th. Pick-up date will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. If unable to pick up quilts on this day, they will be at the Art Gallery and Framing 765-342-0153.

Participants or a representative may sit during open exhibit hours. This is not mandatory but thank you for your help.  A sign-up sheet will be at the check–in desk.

October 11, 2017 – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Thursday Customer Appreciation Night, October 12, 2017 - 9:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Saturday October 14,2017 from 9:00 a.m. -  Noon
